The dates for the concert and rehearsals have now been published. Unfortunately Shanna is not available for any of them so it doesn't look as if we will be asking for a spot to sing by ourselves, but we can discuss this next week.
Shanna is very happy to work on the communal anthems with us on Tuesdays, once we get the music and teach tracks. Now we know dates we need to check our diaries as well and see who is available.

Some other news has just emerged, which I have queried with the organisers, as the Commonwealth Games have just advertised for local choirs to apply to sing at the opening and closing ceremonies. This will involve 8 rehearsals in Birmingham probably at Alexandra Palace.  This appears to be a separate event to Community Spirit so I am trying to get some clarification before we commit ourselves.
